Goodbye, Farewell, and Good Night

Goodbye, Farewell, and Good Night

Oct 12, 2016

A dream, a passion and an unwillingness to give up, are all strong descriptions of my life in regards to PanicREV. It all started almost 15 years ago. It is so hard to believe how fast time has passed. I have so many memories of epic races, amazing people, and God using this crazy sport, motocross, as a tool to connect people to His son, Jesus. It has been a honor to serve such a fantastic community, one of which I have truly loved for the past 15 years. I will forever treasure the memories, the people, and the places with a smile. What PanicREV has become truly is one of the highest highlights of my life.

Over the past year God has been leading me in a new direction and the time has come for me to shift gears and open another chapter of my life. As of the first of the year, I will be leaving my position at PanicREV. I will continue to serve as a board member; and my brother, who has been by my side since day 1, John Parkinson has assumed the position of President of PanicREV. He has a fresh and enthusiastic vision for the future of the ministry and I am excited to see where God leads PanicREV next. In an effort to create the smoothest possible transition John has been taking over leadership responsibilities the past couple of months. He is doing a fantastic job, bringing fresh vision and passion to the ministry. God has done amazing things this year and I expect it is just the beginning. I am confident PanicREV is in the right hands. I am happy to report that it is currently healthier than ever and that is a direct result of John’s leadership. I can’t wait to see how God moves in the near future of PanicREV. The mission remains the same “Reaching the motocross community with the love of Jesus.”

Personally, I am going to miss the sounds, smells and adrenaline that comes along with the sport; however, most of all I am going to miss the people. I have poured my life into the people within this amazing sport for a long, long time. It is going to be hard to step away; however, I know it is time. I will truly miss you all and pray our paths continually cross. Thank you so much for sharing your life and journey with me. It has been an honor to serve you.

My email and social media will remain the same, so please feel free to reach me there, any time.

God bless,
Scott Parkinson
