MOMENTS OF IMPACT

At CampRev, we’ve seen God take passion and turn it into purpose. Year after year, young men and women come for the riding—but they leave with something far greater: a deeper faith, a stronger identity, and a renewed sense of calling. As we prepare for another powerful summer of CampRev, we want to highlight one of those stories—someone whose journey has come full circle.

This is the story of Dylan Copeland—a former camper whose life was transformed by Christ through CampRev… and who now helps lead the very ministry that helped change his life. “PanicRev and CampRev were the vessels God used to change the course of my life,” Dylan says. “Now I get to pour into others the same way others poured into me.”

Dylan grew up in church and knew about Jesus from a young age, but during his teenage years, motocross became everything. The track was where he chased success, purpose, and identity. Like many riders, he hoped the podium would fill the emptiness he was feeling inside.

He first came to CampRev just to train—wanting to ride with top-level athletes like Trey Canard and improve his skills. At the time, the fact that it was a Christian camp felt like a bonus, not the focus. But God had other plans.

Over the next few years, something started to shift. As Dylan kept coming back to CampRev, the community around him—coaches, leaders, other riders—began planting seeds of faith. What started as riding instruction slowly turned into spiritual transformation.

At CampRev in 2018, during one of the evening chapel sessions, Dylan encountered the presence of God in a way he couldn’t ignore. As the Word was preached, he felt the Holy Spirit tugging on his heart—and that night, he made the decision to rededicate his life to Jesus. He was baptized at camp, and everything began to change.

Dylan didn’t just return to riding with a new outlook—he returned to CampRev with a mission. Over time, he stepped into leadership, coaching campers not just on the bike, but in their walk with Christ. Eventually, that calling led him into full-time ministry.

Today, Dylan serves as the Youth Pastor at Calvary Chapel San Jose, and continues to coach and lead at CampRev—pouring into the next generation of riders the same way others poured into him.

As we step into another summer of CampRev, we know Dylan’s story is just one of many. God is still in the business of transforming lives—and your support helps make that possible. Whether it’s through prayer, financial giving, or sharing this mission with someone who needs it, you are a vital part of what God is doing.

Will you partner with us? Together, we can raise up a generation of riders who live with purpose, ride with boldness, and follow Jesus with everything they’ve got.
